What might be in a CSA box.?

Below I have posted two pictures from the Tanaka Farms boxes. One is the small box and one is the large box. They usually post on their blog what we might get for our next pickup. Sometimes the items may change. We should be getting their first batch of Corn on the Cobb next week in our box. I think that's Doug's all-time favorite. And there's no question how he's going to cook it - in the steamer. I have discovered that if you don't put salt on the corn, it enhances the flavor of the butter and the corn, especially if it's sweet corn.

It doesn't matter where you live, you can usually find a CSA program. When we lived in San Luis Obispo, Cal Poly had their own program with things the students in the agriculture program grew. I wish we has signed up back then.
